Government to send airplane to bring back dead bodies and injured persons from Kabul, Afganistan
Jun 21, 2016-The government has taken decision to send an aircraft to bring home the collections of Nepali nationals killed and those injured in the terrorist suicide bomb attack in Kabul, the Capital of Afghanistan.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Kamal Thapa, tweeted to make public the decision specifying that essential arrangements were being made for further actions.
A Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) airplane will leave for Afghanistan today and come back with the dead bodies and those injured in the assault on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
A meeting was held at the Ministry among high authorities of the security offices, NAC, Health Ministry and Foreign Employment Department in this association.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Bharat Raj Poudel, affirmed the choice to dispatch an air ship to bring home the dead bodies and Nepali nationals injured in the assault.
No less than 12 Nepali security guards at the Canadian Embassy – situated in the high-security Green Zone in Kabul – were killed amid the assault on Monday. The Nepal Government has firmly censured and reproved the assault.
The security guards were heading towards the Canadian Embassy in a small bus when the terrorist hit with suicide bomb attack at 9:40 am on Monday.
Nepal's Charge d'Affaires in Pakistan has left for Kabul to deal with the treatment of the injured Nepali nationals and recover the bodies of those executed in the assault.
