NEA to construct power line for Arun-III hydro venture
Jun 21, 2016-Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has agreed on a proposition to build a 33kV transmission line to supply power for the advancement of Arun-III Hydropower Project.
In spite of the fact that the task's designer SJVN ARUN-III Hydropower Project should build the transmission line, NEA approached to create it taking the aggregate expense of the advancement from SJVN.
As per the Project Development Agreement (PDA) marked between Investment Board Nepal (IBN) and SJVN India on November 2014, the last should build up the transmission line for jolt of territories encompassing the undertaking and additionally for its own utilization amid the development of the task.
Right now, NEA and IBN are setting up a draft Memor-andum of Understanding (MoU) on that respect.
Once the MoU is marked, NEA will create around 40km transmission line associating the task site to the closest sub-station at Tirtire of Dhankuta.
